Major property firm rebrands after acquisition

Network Auctions has been rebranded as BTG Edison Estate Auctions following its acquisition by National Auctioneers in December.

The London-based firm is the fourth business to join the group, alongside Pugh, SDL Property Auctions and Mark Jenkinson, which were brought together under a single brand in February. In total, the companies sold property and land worth more than £375m in 2025.

This also expands the group’s national presence, combining regional operations under one brand. The business now offers multiple auction formats, including livestream and timed sales, and expects to bring approximately 350 residential, commercial and land lots to market each month.

Andrew Parker, partner and auctioneer at BTG Edison Property Auctions, said: “The addition of Network Auctions further strengthens our offering to a diverse customer base including businesses, private individuals, local authorities and other public sector bodies who want to unlock value from surplus properties.

“Operating under a single national brand enables us to provide greater reach and resources to our clients, while the network auction benefits from the scale of the larger platform and access to BTG’s broader financial and real estate services.”

BTG Edison Property Auctions operates through regional offices throughout the UK, handling property and land sales for private and public sector clients. The business offers livestream and timed auction formats, allowing buyers and sellers to participate remotely.

The consolidation of the auction businesses follows Begbies Traynor Group’s comprehensive rebrand of BTG. Edison, the Leeds-based property consultancy acquired by the group 11 years ago, has also been renamed BTG Edison.

Toby Limbrick, Director of Network Auctions, commented: “This is a really positive step for us. We have built a strong reputation in the market over the last few years, and becoming part of BTG Edison Property Auctions gives us the platform to build on this even further.

“It means we can give our clients greater reach, more resources and access to a wider range of buyers, whilst still providing the same personal service. Being part of a larger national business opens up new opportunities for growth in London and beyond, which is hugely exciting for us.”
