Orlando Reid has expanded its property management platform with the acquisition of Bergins, a well-established lettings agency based in South Manchester with a strong presence in Northenden and Wythenshawe.

The deal, Orlando Reid’s first acquisition of 2026, adds more than 250 properties to its management portfolio as part of the company’s wider UK growth strategy. The existing Bergins team will remain in place to ensure continuity for landlords and tenants and maintain the agency’s established service standards.

Baljit Arora, managing director of Orlando Reid, said: “Burgins is a well-respected company with a loyal customer base, supported by strong levels of repeat business. They have established an impressive market share in Northenden and Wythenshawe and we are delighted to welcome their experienced team and customers to the Orlando Reid group.

“This acquisition is an important step in our growth strategy as we continue to grow our management portfolio and strengthen our presence across South Manchester.”

The addition of Bergins’ portfolio supports Orlando Reid’s ambitious growth targets, with the company aiming to reach 2,500 managed properties across the group by the end of 2027.

In recent years, Orlando Reid has continued to expand its footprint in the property sector, providing investment advisory, property sales, lettings and full management services to UK and international investors.
