Robert Irving Burns appoints Chrissy Fairweather as head of residential sales

Robert Irving Burns (RIB) in central London has announced the appointment of Chrissie Fairweather as its new head of residential sales. She will join Julia Garber, Head of Residential, to provide senior leadership to the residential team.

Fairweather has over three decades of experience in the prime central London market, having started his career in residential property in the early 1990s, working with agencies including Kinley Folkard and Hayward and York Estates.

In her new role she will work alongside her daughter Nikita, who joins the RIB as a negotiator in 2024.

Fairweather said: “Clients absolutely love the fact that we are a mother/daughter team; it provides a different level of trust and teamwork through a specialized service that other agencies can’t provide.”

Jean-Pierre Claps joins Stax Property Search

Stack Property Search has expanded its London team with the appointment of Jean-Pierre Claps, who will focus on East London and the surrounding areas.

Claps joins from buying agency Mason Hunt and has previously worked in television and property. His TV background includes producing for Channel 4. a place in the sunAnd he has also worked in London agency roles at Knight Frank.

He is fluent in English, French and Spanish and will work with international and domestic buyers in areas including Islington, Hackney and wider East London.

Clapps said he would focus on residential property in East London and parts of North London, an area he described as increasingly popular with international buyers.

“West London has traditionally attracted a very international, often more transient, audience,” Clapps said. “Whereas in East London, what you find is a stronger sense of community – people like to stay, put down roots and grow into an area over time. It’s also where a lot of buyers today feel they can still build something – whether it’s a home, a lifestyle, or long-term value. There’s a real sense of momentum there, and that’s what continues to attract people.”

Tom Boxall joins Bidwells

Bidwells has announced the appointment of Tom Boxall who has joined the firm as partner in the Operational Living Capital Markets division.

Boxall joins from Unite Students where he spent the last two years as Acquisitions and Development Manager. Prior to this he worked with Avison Young, where he began his career as a graduate and worked his way up to Associate Director within the residential and mixed-use development consultancy for private and public sector clients.
