The Exeter branch of Martin & Co has acquired Cooksleigh Estate Agents, the first acquisition for franchise owners Nick and Rosie Davie since taking over the branch in early 2024.
The deal includes both the lettings management portfolio and sales operations, effectively doubling the size of the Exeter branch in both areas.
Since taking over the branch, Nick and Rosie Davey have focused on developing customer relationships and building a local team to support the expanding business.
“It has been very busy and exciting getting to know the business and building good relationships with our customers,” said Nick Davey. “We have a fantastic, hard-working team and without them we would not have been where we are today.”
The acquisition of Cookslease is part of the Exeter branch’s wider plan to expand its local presence, with the owners open to additional opportunities.
“We would love to grow even more in the future,” Nick Davey said. “If the right fit for our business comes along, we will certainly consider further acquisitions.”
