move right is releasing updates to its suite of tools for letting agents, including enhancements to its Tenancy Manager service and a redesign of the Rightmove Plus dashboard.
The changes are intended to help agents manage the already increased administrative and compliance requirements Tenant Rights Act
Tenancy Manager updates include:
+ Tenancy agreements in accordance with the Tenant Rights Act
+ A process for notifying existing tenants about changes to the agreement
+ Revised offer letter reflecting updated tenancy terms
+ Fare data to support accurate fare reviews
+ Updated reference criteria following the removal of advance rent and changes to tenancy terms
The Rightmove Plus dashboard has also been revised to provide a more accessible view of branch performance. Agents can now instantly see metrics on available stock, new instructions and agreed fares in specific periods.
Rightmove says market share comparison for lettings has been simplified, and the sales dashboard now provides a snapshot of key figures including stock, price cuts, declines and a visual sales funnel to track progress through the sales process.
Christian Balchen, Rightmove director of agent partnerships, said: “Letting agents have had to become experts in dealing with changes in the law and the tenancy manager is here to help. Slightly unusually, the Tenants Rights Act applies not only to new tenancies but also to all existing tenancies.
“This is a huge administrative task to allow agents with so many compliance deficiencies, and I’m very proud that Tenancy Manager is helping our partners navigate these changes. Additionally, the updates we’ve made to the Rightmove Plus platform aim to make it even easier for agents to act with confidence and clarity.”
